All Kinds of Joy 2nd Birthday

It’s been a minute since we stretched our legs for a proper late night dance in a basement...so we thought we’d throw a special 2 year JOYful birthday celebration to help you shake off those January blues.

Extended family member Admin (Community Disc-Os) will be making the journey up from Bristol with his bag of underground HEAT and we'll also be joined by local fave and top drawer DJ, Living Room Dance Club and her killer selection of eccentric soul, rare groove & leftfield disco.

You can expect the usual mix of all kinds of joyful sounds for the dancefloor, from gospel, disco and boogie through to spiritual jazz, house and anything else in between.

After covering fees for guest DJs 100% of profits from the night and cassette sales will go the local charity Kids of Colour. Kids of Colour works across the communities of Greater Manchester and is a project for young people of colour aged 24 and under to explore ‘race’, identity and culture. Kids of colour create spaces to challenge the racism that affects young people and their communities; building collective resistance and solidarity. More info at - kidsofcolour.com
